ps2 online connection

    i have a router and a cable connection but i cant seem to get a connection 4 both my ps2 and the computer someone help me pleaz either respond to the thread or hit me up through aim or yahoo messenger tjtrey03 thanks

    You need a special modem for PS2 and a broadband connection compatible with the modem + a cd to register with sony online

    That's what he has, the router. :D

    I just re-read the post. If you are not getting any connection for the PS2 or the PC then 2 things: Router is not functioning or the ISP information is wrong.

    On certain routers (like D-Link) you should upgrade it to the latest version (usually found on the manufacture's site) and see if there is a command called 'Gaming mode' or something similar and enable it.

    Do you have dial-up, dsl, or cable?

    He may have not registered with the sony online company with that cd you get with the modem
