PS3 router question?

I'm getting a PS3 soon and need to know what router to get so I can use the web. Does it matter which one I get and does anyone know of a decent cheap one? I know this probably isn't the place to ask this but can someone help me or tell me where I can get some help? I've tried a few game forums but haven't gotten any answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

are you already on the internet?
if you have a decent broadband connection then i would go for a belkin router..it might even be worth going for a wireless router...that gives you the option of connecting other devices to it as well...

 

yeh...using wireless isnt ideal for gaming...but its good for the whole house...ie.if u wanted to play ur psp in ur bed room but had the router downstairs connected by ethernet cable to ur ps3...then ud need a wireless connection
