psu output

    how can i tell what my power supply output is at load. my tester only shows raw voltages. if they light it's good. i think i'm weak at load

    You would need to measure the output voltage(s) with a high impedance voltmeter. Then you can see in the voltage "sags" under load.

    What is the make/mdl of the Power Supply? If it is a cheapie....welllll

    it's a 550 w power magic. doesn't sound like a real top of the line to me. it's about a year and a half old.

    So...it's not a Primo power supply. What gives the impression that it is not working well under "load", and what constitutes a "load"?

    What devices are involved in your configuration?
