I have a trojan horse virus - PSW.Banker.B. Even though I have anti-virus software and Stinger it refuses to be deleted. Have been working on this all afternoon with no success. Has anyone suffered with this one before and can offer advice?

    Many thanks.

    Fix These:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [System Restores] C:\WINDOWS\svahost.exe <-- Virus
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [socks] C:\WINDOWS\System32\download.exe <-- Troj/Socks-A Virus

You can remove this as it just takes up resources
    O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE

    O16 - DPF: {10000000-1000-0000-1000-000000000000} - file://C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Iesearch.exe

Can you please email the C:\WINDOWS\svahost.exe file to [email protected]

    Reboot and delete:

    C:\WINDOWS\svahost.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\download.exe

Sorry for the long wait, I was on vacation for a week.

But anyways - If you have not yet deleted the svahost.exe, then upload it to the following URl and post back the results. Otherwise, post back another HTJ log to make sure everything's clear.
