i have something in my running tasks called ptsnoop.exe i cant figure out what it is.....anyone have any clues?

It's a program for your onboard HSP or PCTel modem that monitors the Com ports. It's nothing to worry about.

I've disabled mine in the bios setup with no ill effects.

Yep, the onboard modems still run fine without Ptsnoop.exe running.

Still, all in all you'd think they could have come up with another name for that .exe, like lookcom or something, but ptsnoop?? :D
