OS Windows XP. How can the printer buffer for a HP LaserJet 6L be purged?
I can't find any sort of reference to this situation on the HP support sites. I think it is printing PostScript code. Have tried to let it run through but still printing page after page many hours later. Thanks.

Will not switching the printer off then going to the printer folder and deleting the spool file do the trick ?

In w2k that is in winnt/system32/spool/printers

All print queques had been cleared. Printer cable disconnected; printer turned off (power cord unplugged). Printer kept printing. However, sequence is often the key - this morning it worked. Thanks for the boost.
