Q? about upgrading hard drive

    is it posible to upgrade your hard drive without reloading everything, ex: windows and programs?

    You could just add a second or third drive if you are running out of space. If you want to remove your present HD and put in another one, then you have to reinstall everything.

    ok that's what i figured. thanks!
    i do have a second drive (160 gb) that's external for storage... i'm just worried my main drive (80 gb) is getting old.

    Its hard to say how long a drive will last, some may only last a few months while others may last at least 10 years.
