    Hi Freakchris03

I presume "pop stoppers" is a program you installed to stop pop-ups

Go to the control panel\add remove programs and uninstall the program

To check Java is enabled - go to tools\internet options\security\custom level - scroll down to "Java permissions" and make sure "high safety" is ticked

Then scroll down to the bottom to "scripting" and make sure the following two are ticked
    active scripting
    scripting of java applets

If you go to Start > Settings and Control Panel, double click Add / Remove Programs and find the pop up killer and click on it and click Add / Remove. That will uninstall the program from your computer.

    Freakchris03,

If you go back to your post in the XP forum, you'll see that these things are related to Windows Script 5.6.(jscript.dll is one of the files incuded in Script) You have other problems caused by the same non working windows element.

Please do an sfc /scannow to replace missing or corrupt System files.

Don't forget that Virus Scan too.

Start with the sfc /scannow to replace missing system files

You need Java Script to run the online scan.

Then try the virus scan again.

OK I give up. You have been asked 3 times now which pop up stopper you installed and haven't answered.
I searched for 1 calles "Pop Stoppers" as you mentioned in your first post but there doesnt seem to be a program with that name.
