I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to on any web search. My question is in regard to the latest quad channel memory. I am purchasing a Rampage IV Extreme with 8 dimm slots. I am purchasing 64 gb of quad channel memory 8 sticks @ 8gb. Upon a little research I am confused. In order to maximize the quad channel memory you would have to seat the stick in every 4th slot, since there are eight slots, to my understanding only two of those 8gb sticks would be quad channel. What about the other 6 sticks, would they only be running in single, double or triple channel. If they are only running in single or double channel, then I got seriously ripped off from the company building my computer. I would greatly appreciate some education on this matter PLEASE!!!! Thank you
