    you just bought a new motherboard and u connect everything
    when the post begins after giving you the name of the pc and the bios it stops when it has to give u information about the ram
    wat might be the problem??
    u tryed the ram somewhere else and its woking
    u tryed ur hard disk and every other device and they r all working
    even the Bios
    there is no floppy in the system
    sometimes u r able 2 go to the cmos other time u can't
    but there's nothing wrong wit it

    if u get this question it mean u r a done in hardware
    and can work anywhere

    You bought a new motherboard. What make and model of the MB,CPU and RAM? Did you reuse the CPU and RAM from the old motherboard? What exactly happens -- does the screen freeze? Does the system shut off? Reboot?

    Have you tried hooking up the MB out of the case (like resting it on the box that it came in) with only the CPU (plus heat sink and fan), one stick RAM and video card?
