I bought a few of these and I wondered exactly what they even do.
When I plug them in to my old analog tv they do nothing I have a ati radeon hd 4850 graphics card so I thought maybe it didnt work with my tv so I connected it to a projector nothing either then I took it and put it on another computer with another ati video card and plugged it into a hd tv no output, I am currently running windows 7 the other computer was running vista

I went to settings and tried to detect the other monitors it wouldnt so I forced it to and it wouldnt show anything on the screens
    What are these things for?
