i'm building a compy for a friend with a pretty powerfull PSU (antec neopower 480). i was wondering if it's okay to hook the hard drive and optical drive on the same cable, or will it overload it?

the person who can sufficiently answer this first gets a priiiiize. =P

Yes, it is OK. It won't hurt a thing. I think I've got both hard drives and the floppy on one cable. Works like it should.

All the cords go into the same power supply. Won't make a difference what cord you use.
