A lady I work with came to me today asking how to get rid of the wonderful Dropper.Bridge.A and Secthought.B .

So I went to Mcafee's website as I always do to search for anything, and came up with nothing. Then I "googled" it.

Every single site that I went to had one thing in common, every person infected with these 2 strains was using AVG. And the trojan isn't exactly easy to get rid of.

I am going to have her try some things I got from other people that have gotten rid of the trojan before my fail safe format and try again, but my main question is, is there a connection between AVG and the trojan? I hate to assume and be wrong, but I would feel a little better if someone got the virus and McAfee or Norton caught it.

Thanks
Shirley
