I am new to this area. Went through an online training session for Frontpage. I know a little about designing a web page but I do not know the process of how to receive a web address. Could someone please explain? Thank you in advance!!!!!!

Are you referring to a domain name? GO to www.godaddy.com or www.networksolutions.com and get a domain name if it is available and register it. Now you own a domain name. Most of these domain registrars have tutorials on how to register one.

Domain registration is the first step. As soon as you have one, start designing and also start looking for hosting. Without hosting you can have a site. Once you decide on hosts, you will know what features and facilities you will have with your hosting account and design your site accordingly. But don't hire hosting space till you are thru with designing. That will be just some waste if designing takes longer because hosting is per year.

But you will have to hire a domain name first so that you can keep the links (like email, etc) in your pages and know that its will not change later. I will go with http://www.godaddy.com or http://www.on4ever.net. I do all my work at on4ever. Its quite convenient and gives me enough control. Network Solutions is very expensive.
