question before i delete

    can i delete anything out of this folder?
    C:\documents and settings\owner\local settings\Temp
    ever time i seem to go in that folder i find things like WhenU app. Power Scan app. locos app. i don't have any of these programs on my computer b/c i know there spyware/adware but i have other things like rtdrvmon, tmp10bf6, WUInst01 and many more is it ok to delete these items?

    P.S. I got my Memory Stick today from Crucial and its working great (y)

    Everything in that temp folder is okay to delete. If you have adware files in your temp directory, I would suggest getting adaware, et. al., and thoroughly checking you system.

    As a rule, files land in temp after an install procedure (among other reasons), so if you recognize those, give your system a good check and clean.

    The TEMP folder is used for when you download a file, to sometimes some software uses it when it's installing. Anything in the TEMP is safe to delete, since it will be deleted anyways when you do a DISC CLEANUP.
