I notice that LoadPowerProfile has 2 boxes in System Configuration Utility > "Startup" BUT only one has a checkmark.
    Should both have them:confused:

I had read that Microsoft bulletin before, but still left me hanging re checking both.
What happened is this: If I leave the computer & monitor on for a while, the computer will go into what i ASSUME is "standby" mode, and the Monitor goes off, and when I turn it back on the Monitor gives me a "Please check Cable" error or something similar.
Pressing enter, shift-enter, control-enter, or even alt - enter does NOT turn the monitor back on, soooo I have to hit the reset key on the comp to get things going again, & risk losing data.
If I'm away from the comp for any length of time I just turn the monitor & comp off to avoid putting up with this aggravation re the monitor:mad:
I noticed the 2 LoadPowerProfile boxes (1 checked, 1 unchecked) a few days ago when I was seeing what msconfig would show me re my startup programs.
Noticed I also have 2 UNchecked "Microsoft Works Updates" boxes listed, but have it turned off also with ZoneAlarm and have the box in Works about receiving updates unchecked.
