I hope I am posting this in the correct place and if not I sincerely apologize. I just hooked up my Desktop computer after having moved and relying on my Laptop for almost three months.

I have the Yahoo Instant Messenger installed in my computer and I got a message from Yahoo indicating that an update was available and reccommending I install it which I did. The update is OK with the exception of the fact that Yahoo has without my permission installed their "toolbar" at the top of my screen and I find it to be incredibly annoying.

I have searched around in yahoo and I can't find a way to get rid of their 'toolbar" which really doesn't surprise me since Yahoo is not known for good documentation.

Can anyone please tell me how to get rid of this annoying Yahoo "toolbar"? You have my eternal and undying gratitude.

    Thanks to all.
