Once I post to a thread on this site, I don't know how to "unsubscribe" myself from it. How do you keep from getting updates to a thread that you posted in?

Why would you want to unsubscribe from your own thread?

When you get the email notifying you of a reply, scroll to the bottom and click "unsubscribe".

In addition to the above, if you're already viewing the thread and want to unsubscribe you can just click on Thread Tools on the upper right-hand side and select that option from the menu there. :)

You can also delete subscriptions in your profile. :)

They may not be his own threads but rather ones he has responded to and no longer wishes to receive notifications of replies. :)

No, I haven't tried it but yes, you can unsubscribe a number of ways. :)
