Quick Q about newegg

    If you buy something OEM...will it work? See, I wanna get a DVD drive, but it only has the drive..what am I missing, wires, drivers, etc?

    I will definitely work, OEM does mean broken :)

    Depends, I haven't bought from them, but you'll get the drive and possibly NOTHING else. You won't get any software, but they may send a cable or brief manual.

    I've bought an OEM video card and it came with a Driver CD, a quick start guide, and a S-Video to RCA convertor.

    The cables you can pick up from any computer shop. You'll need a IDE/DATA cable and an audio cable. You'll also need some DVD software.

    Most of this stuff you may have from another drive or like the software you may get with a video card - ie. ATi DVD player.
