What seems to be the best one?.. Trend Micro Pc-cillin internet security 2005 or ZoneAlarm Pro?

I am using Mozzila Firefox..

I tested my pc at auditmypc.com and on one of the pages it said that it could read my internal and external IP address.. i got this message both under ZoneAlarm and Trend Micro.

Does this have anything to do with Mozilla?

oh.. and does anyone recommend any addons for firefox, i have mouse gestures which is good.

thanks

Hi, Some tips:

http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/tips

http://forums.techguy.org/t315509&highlight=Firefox+extensions.html

When I test security anywhere else except where you did also...I am completely secure, only at auditmypc does it say anything about seeing an IP address... I don't know what the deal is with what they "see" so I will let an expert comment on that. If you pass LeakTest you can be pretty sure you are secure enough.

Steve Gibson's site is pretty good too>

You have to read down through the stuff, it looks complicated but gets easier a ways down...

Patching the holes in the browser and running a few protection programs is also a good idea. I use Spywareblaster and IE_Spyads to keep things out of here, and on some I use BHODemon, too (kid's) and I have tried Spyware Guard, and some others.

For good security, get a decent router> one with built in firewall (you can also use a software firewall on a pc connected without a hassle) Most will let you hook up about 4 computers or more if you use a hub and router.

I love being able to bring in a pc and connect it right next to the router and my pc...or running a cable to another location to hook one up in another room. Mine is only the wired type, but there are some really good wireless routers around, they can be problematic in certain conditions.
