    My keyboard has one of those windows buttons in the lower left corner of it. Normally one of these wouldnt be a problem but i like to play online first person shooters and with the 2 keys right next to my windows key bound to some of the most used commands, things get pretty annoying pretty often.

    Is there anyway to disable this key short of prying it out of my keyboard??

    you could always switch the keys you use. For Counterstrike I use:

    a= left
    s= down
    d= right
    w= up
    Left Shift= Crouch
    Spacebar= Jump

    So it is highly unlikely that I will hit the key. I have yet to hit it.

    Check on Keyboard in the Contorl Panel. Some have options for turning on/off various buttons.
