I am new to the company; loans, company credit card and fixed assets were not entered properly. Loans were setup putting the whole loan amount under a/p then monthly loan bills also under the a/p. Need to fix and put loan amount under fixed asset. The a/p total includes full loan amount and monthly bills. (In essence, the loan will be in their two times.) Help.

How do I set up a loan account for a fixed asset (computer loan.)? The loan was taken out in 2003, its about 1/2 done. How do I do this and still show the payments made from 2003 - present? Please email reply asap.

Also, how do I set up the company credit card?
