When I try to watch a downloaded .mov file on Quicktime 5, the video playback is extremely jerky and not in sync with the audio. The picture often freezes while the audio continues. Any suggestions?

How fast is your computer... how much ram do you have... what kind of sound card and video card do you have? This problem is sometimes caused by sound card or vid card (more likely the sc) compatibility problems, or your computer might be too slow or you may not have enough available memory. You can also try adjusting the cpu usage, which is probably somewhere in preferences. (I don't have quicktime so I am wagering guess as to where it is or if your can adjust it)
