QuickTime - What's the Deal?

    I visit sites where quicktime is needed, however in the past when I have had the free version - it seemed like the quicktime was giving me problems. What is the real deal with quicktime? Thanks.....latwiggy

    The one thing I didn't like about Qucktime and Realplayer was the way both insinuated themselves into your Startup - hogging resources when not required to run.
