We send mass email out to our members here and there. Our "webmaster" uses FrontPage to create the HTML email. It shows up fine for everyone but AOL users. When an AOL user views the email the see a square where the quote should be. Any ides on how we can get that to stop? Thanks!

Want a shot in the dark? I think that the "new and improved" AOL has certain pop up blocking features that may sense the html code you are using in FrontPage as an ad or something. So is it all AOL users I assume? AOL just does some weird stuff.

Yep, strictly AOL. I wonder though, if FrontPage throws some junk in the code to make it do that.

It's because Frontpage is using an encoding that is not available to AOL users

He is probably using UTF 8 and AOL doesn't recognise it
