Which works better/faster with Intel P4, R-DRAM or DDR memory? Right now I have a 1.3 GHz P4 with 640 R-DRAM, but have been considering upgrading the processor and switching over to DDR. Also, wat is the difference between the different types of DDR?

    Thanks in advance.

RDRAM is faster than DDR-SDRAM but DDR is pretty close and more affordable. If you want to switch, I believe you'd have to change your motherboard as well. That can start to get expensive.

OK, basically all I really want to upgrade is the processor, which is currently at 1.3 GHz. If RDRAM is faster, then I'll just stick with the motherboard and 640 MB of RDRAM that I have and perhaps buy a faster processor.
