Which format is better to burn DVD's in? I am converting some VHS tapes and will burn them to DVD. Which format should I use?

    Thanks

Pretty much a toss up at this time. Both camps have statistics claiming better compatibilty with players. -R discs can be had for less $, though +R disc are more readily available.

Is there any quality differences? Or is it strictly a matter of compatibility? One of my DVD players should play both.
