    Hi

Does anyone know of a device or unit that allows for many laptops to be charged and connected to the network at one time?

We have inspectors that travel with their laptops all day. It would be nice if they could be stored in a rack of some kind that would charge the laptop and allow them to get windows updates, virus updates etc.

Does anyone know of such a thing? I found notebook charging racks..but nothing mentioned about network capabilities.

We have all Dell notebooks...mostly Inspiron and Lattitude.

    Thanks

I'm not sure what kind of specialized product you're looking for, but obviously you need a switch and several power outlets. Beyond that, any shelving works.

Thanks. I was hoping there was something along the lines of a rack, in which you could "dock" several laptops at one time. Right now, we have a switch and a couple of power strips, power cords running to each laptop and each laptop plugged into the switch. It just takes up space and is rather untidy. I did find a storage rack in which you could charge several laptops at once, but it didn't meant networking at all.
