As you can see by my signature I have the 9200 but not the SE version. The SE versions are the basic least powerful versions for lack of a better phrase.
The 9200 for me (Not a gamer) is fine with 128 MB but for a "keen" gamer you'll be disappointed. I'm a Radeon fan but you should try and scrape the $$'s together or save a while and go with a 9800 series. I know, a lot more money but if that's your enjoyment, high intensity games, then you won't have to buy another card six months from now.
If you look around you'll see prices all over the map. Here's just an example you might even find a sale at a place like Best Buy or CompuCare.

EDIT: Whoops, just re-read your post and you were looking at a
9800 not 9200 (the SE fooled me) but what I said still goes about the SE versions. Up it to the XT or Pro.
