Raid Controller

    Hi
    Anytime when is restarting the computer it says found new hardwer but aint instaling :mad: , whats that raid controller and what driver need to be installing

    ata/atapi problem because cd-rom dvd rw aint staring what is needed to fix this problem

    Ok, I am not understanding your post.
    Do you have a raid array?
    Have you changed anything in your bios or updated the bios?
    Has your system always done this?

    Your second post I cannot understand at all.

    yea raid controller problem because in the taskbar is that found new hardware but aint instaling when is click to the instal hardware its RAID Controller yea what going on with that :)

    what about this RAID Controller how to install it because it is that found new hardware but aint is installing when is clicking to instal hardware automaticaly,

    -) Can not install this Hardware
    The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software.

    Click back if you have installation media such as a cd-rom,or if you know the location of the software .
    this is with the RAID Controller , what about that ...)

    You need to install the driver for your raid controller. Another option is to disable the raid controller in the bios [if it is an onboard type controller and not a real raid card]

    Post your exact specs ie make, model, and version # of your board. I can find the driver for you.

    dunno mahbe is a onboard raid controller but dont know ,how real raid card? how to disable in the bios too? version is xp sp3

    You have not posted your exact specs; no one can find you a driver until you do so.
