I'm not sure if this is way too general to elicit any helpful feedback, but ever since I did a windows update a couple months ago, I get this found new hardware wizard popping up whenever I start windows. It says that windows has detected a SCSI / RAID device, but no matter whether I have it search for drivers on my HD, or connect to windows update to search for drivers, etc. it still says hardware not successfully installed. And.... next time I boot my computer, the wizards back. Now I basically just click cancel after the little bubble in the bottom right of the screen comes up every time I start windows. I tried deleting the device from device manager, but no avail.

    Any suggestions?

You probably have an onboard type of raid controller. This can be disabled in the bios. Check your manual.
