Hi,
a friend of mine recently bought 2 identical sticks of 1gb ddr 2100 ram from a well known online auction site, to upgrade his emachines 590 pc. It should have been perfectly compatible, but upon installing the ram he got the dreaded blue screen stop error:
"process1_initialization failure" or something along those lines and a lot of 0x00000012A type numbers.
This also happened with only one stick installed as well.
The ram itself isnt the problem, as it worked fine on my system.

here is a bunch of info on the motherboard if you need it.
could the problem be caused by the PSU by any chance? the system has 250W power supply, the cpu is a P4 2.4ghz and Windows is fully updated etc.
any help/ideas would be much appreciated.
Cheers
