My IBM Aptiva is giving me an error code "RAM parity error" upon startup. I'm just an old guy with little comp knowledge, and even less money for repairs. This started when I had to format the hard drive and re-load Juno software due to a major download lock-up.

    Hi pstreur
Ram parity error refers to your system memory. You should try reseating those. If you still get the errors after reseating and have more than one simm installed you could try removing one at a time to find out which simm is causing your problems.
