Ram upgrade

    I'm going to get some more ram but i don't know for sure what type mine is it doesnt say on the chip, is there another way to check?

    If you an identify the motherboard, sometimes printed on the motherboard itself, or the system model number then you can look it up at a memory manufacturer/reseller site like this: http://www.crucial.com/

    You can also download SIW: http://www.gtopala.com/
    Then go to the Hardware section and select Memory to get info about the current RAM.

    If you can post your computer specs, someone can probably figure it out for you.

    If you purchased your computer from a store, just the brand & model number should be OK :)
