Ram Vs Bus

    warning!!!! computer illiterate but getting better.
    i have a 1.6 gig. pentium on a compaq presario desktop.
    512 mb ram and 80 gig hard drive.
    running xp home edition.
    how do i find out what my BUS is?
    can i add more ram to make my computer go even faster?

    I seriously doubt you'll notice ANY speed increase going from 512mb to 1gig in memory. I'd spend the money on something you can actually use.
