Hey. Sorry if this is in the wrong section or anything. I have a Dell Latitude D600 with 512MB of RAM (256x2) and i wanna get 1GB. Its DDR SDRAM 333MHz and PC2700...Do i have to have 2 sticks in at one time or can i have just 1 stick of 1GB. Also can i just get 1 stick of 512 and add it with 1 256MB. Can i do combinations or do they have to match each other?

    Thanks a head of time!

You can have 1 stick of 1 gb or 2 of 512, it doesn't matter but if you want to use you 256 you have as one, you need to go here or www.kingston or corsair.com to match that unit in their configurator or they will never work together. Crucial will guaranty the match and so you know, matching ram isn't just finding a stick of the same speed.
