Over the last few weeks, I've ran into problems with Facebook on Google Chrome. I've done quite a bit to try and figure out the loading issues. Basically, it's all random...I can jump right on the net and load Facebook, and five minutes later (browser still up), it won't load. OR, I can be off the computer for a while, get on and have trouble immediately...doesn't really matter. Nothing specific.

In the JavaScript console, I get errors...and they aren't always the same. Just now, I have a "failed to load resource" error, and while Facebook seems to have loaded my news feed, it's still trying to load SOMETHING. A few minutes back, it sat on a white screen, with "Uploading (0%)" in the left corner.

It's probably significant to note that my Facebook "share" buttons (on multiple sites) are giving me problems, randomly, as well as the Facebook comment boxes.

Just a few minutes ago, I wiped Chrome from my system, downloaded it again, and I'm still having these issues.

I've cleared cache, cookies, and everything in between.

In addition to this, I've re-registered a few DLL's (such as jscript), dropped the firewall, lowered every internet security settings, checked security exceptions in Chrome, disabled malware and anti-virus programs (didn't have any running in the first place), scanned with Malwarebytes...and still, it's there.

The puzzling thing: it all works fine on Firefox, and that's where I'm really stumped.

Please tell me I'm not the only one running into this problem.

This is very unlikely to be a malware issue so moved to web & email

My apologies.

Just tested this out on IE, and it's working fine (as it does on FF)...so now I'm fully convinced this is a Chrome issue, but after re-installing Chrome and running into the same problem, I'm not exactly excited.
