So this is a problem that recently started occurring and what happens doesn't really make sense to me. When I play Overwatch or TF2 I am able to join matches fine and my connection is stable. However, once in a while, around 5 minutes or so I either lose connection to the game server or freeze for a short period of time. The weirdest part is that I am still able to hear voice chat, external (discord) and internal (ingame) while I am either frozen or disconnecting. This disconnect has basically made any game unplayable especially in a ranked setting such as overwatch. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what may be happening? One note I would like to make is that I recently started using PIA VPN for regular browsing but I disable it completely during gaming. Maybe one of the drivers it installed is causing this problem? Also, I tested both wired and wireless connections to my network and this problem still persists. Any ideas would be appreciated. Attached is my DxDiag report.
