Once a new bi-annual update is available, Microsoft should announce the availability of a new Media Creation Tool so people can obtain it and create bootable install media.
Last night, I used the new Media Creation Tool to create a bootable install disc for version 20H2 of Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.
Version 1909 was 3.97 GB in size and version 2004 was 3.85 GB in size, so they both fit fine on a standard recordable DVD.
However, version 20H2 is a much larger 4.57 GB in size, so I had to use a double layer recordable DVD.
I haven't done a clean install yet and started from scratch with version 20H2 , so I don't know what has been added to account for the large increase in size.
Besides having no information on the computer you're trying to update, it looks you used the Windows 10 Update Assistant tool to do an upgrade/update from an older Windows version.
If your computer is able to load its Windows operating system and has a working internet connection, please do the following in it:
Download and save the tsginfo.exe file.
After it's been downloaded and saved, double-click it to run it.
Information about your computer will appear.
Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the ENTIRE text here.
Assuming it's a factory brand one and not a self built one, what is the brand name and model name and model number and serial number/service tag number of your computer?
That's the same laptop that I've discussed with you in one of your other threads.
You need to reply to me in that thread.
You have too many threads going at the same time, so this getting too complicated.
