A friend has a PC that reboots once in a while. It will reboot or restart & go back to the Desktop. When he was on line @ Ebay was the only time it did it then, last week it did it when he was running another program ( not online ).
    I have:
    1. Changed the Modem.
    2. Changed the P/S
    3. Changed the Processor.
    4. Ran Heat tests ( all show right on ).
    5. Turned off the Reboot on power off.
    6. Changed Ram.
    7. Updated all Drivers.
    8. Reformatted the HDD ( ntfs ).
    9. Re Installed Win XP pro W/SP2.
When the PC is at my location it runs fine?? He has had three power strips go bad but, all voltages are good where the PC is plugged in.
    It is a:
    AMD XP 2000
    256Mg Crucial Ram
    350Watt P/S.
    Suggestions
