For some odd reason, ever since we did a system restore with the Official E-Machines DVD that came with the computer, it restarts randomly. It's really annoying, and I'm not sure why it happens. Whenever we turn our computer back on from one we get an error report saying 'Windows has recovered from a serious error.' but they just say that there was a BSoD and that's never happened. Does anybody know how to solve this?

Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Howdy curbspaget...

Right click My Computer - Properties - Advanced tab - Settings button in Startup and Recovery, and uncheck Automatically restart...

The next time it happens, you should get a BSOD on the screen with some information on it...

Record all the information on the screen, and post it back here...

    Unknown Hard Error

    And that's it.
