    Hey guys..

    I have windowsxp media edition.
    Asus G1.

It seems like the computer just love to stand by at any given time... haha
Also, when I reboot. 70percent or 100percent of the time, I can't reboot. I have to manually press the power button to turn it off.

    Any thoughts? Thank you !!!

Check your Power Options in Control Panel.

You don't state, but if your system is a Desktop, all Power Options should be set to Never. One possible exception is the Monitor, and you should set this only if you have the (IMHO) leaving your system on for long periods when not using it.

Also, some motherboards have a Power Sever (or some such option) in the BIOS Setup, this should be disabled.
