These show up randomly... every day atleast... the folders (usually a long string up numbers and letters like 8383jijf9fhdd737475) have a text file inside them and the first string of the text file says:

=== Verbose logging started: 1/24/2007 15:00:28 Build type: SHIP UNICODE 3.01.4000.2435 Calling process: C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe ===

Here's the beginning what each file contains...

=== Verbose logging started: 1/24/2007 15:00:28 Build type: SHIP UNICODE 3.01.4000.2435 Calling process: C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe ===
MSI (c) (2C:24) [15:00:28:436]: Resetting cached policy values
MSI (c) (2C:24) [15:00:28:436]: Machine policy value 'Debug' is 0
MSI (c) (2C:24) [15:00:28:436]: ******* RunEngine:
******* Product: c:\33d001fda31e0801aef0c93c\msxml.msi
******* Action:
******* CommandLine: **********
MSI (c) (2C:24) [15:00:28:436]: Client-side and UI is none or basic: Running entire install on the server.
Anyone know how I can prevent these from showing up? I've been deleting them since I got the PC... wish I could just disable this... thanks.

Those look like Windows Updates. Probably best to leave them alone. However...

Run adaware, spybot S&D and Ccleaner.

Then run Hijack This, and post the results in the security forum for the super-brains to look over.

I know they are "Verbose Logs". Is there anyway to disable this? Thanks.
