    Hello,
I have just been into my Add/Remove programme and found the following:-

Lernout & Hauspie TruVoice American English TTS Engine

I don't know what this programme is. Can anyone tell me and also do I need it.? It may be something that my son has installed?
    I have Windows 98SE.
    Thanks for any help/advice.
    Cinders.

It's the Lernout & HauspieĀ® TruVoice Text-To-Speech Engine for speech output.

    Thank you Tony,
Does that mean it is ok to leave it?
I am sorry but I am still not too clever when it comes to understanding if I need to keep a programme or not. I do not want to remove it and then find that I should have left it intact.
    Thank you,
    Cinders.

It's OK to leave it. If disk space is not a real problem on your system, it won't get in your way.

    Cheers,
