re booting / re start by itslef ???

    hi hello to all,

    please help me on how to solve this kind of problem,

    how come everytime I tried to click window explorer my pc just reboot by itself and also when I insert something and if I click the down arrow on the box it restart also... please explain or instruct me on how to fix this... I really appreciate your help
    thank you...





    about my pc : win98 office2000 550gb PIII 256ram dsl

    Some file must be corrupt. Run SFC and it may fix the problem. Good luck.

    hi sir

    I checked on my SFC and found out that file: GAPI32.DLL is corrupted and my question is how should I fix this , I do not know where to start ... I am worried I might corrupt more of my files :(
    please instruct me where to get such file cause when I insert my window98 cd I dont know whether I install the whole thing ...

    SFC can be used to extract it.

    Run SFC, select Extract One File From Installation Disk option and follow the instructions. Have your Windows CD in the PC.
