I hope its okay to start a new thread. I had another going last nite but so long its confusing.
Here is my problem: I still have kazaa and want to get rid of it.
I ran sybot before i removed it from add/remove in control panel.
Now I can't remove it from there or even on the sstart/run button. I keep getting RUNDLL. Error C:\Windows\system\cd_clint.dll
    Missing entry: SERVICE RUNDLL
I ran spybot again and came up clean. Went to the thread that i received last night and it says to remove ,
    C:\Windows\System\CD_clint.dll
    C:\Windows\System\CD_gif.dll
    C:\Windows\System\CD_htm.dll
    C:\Windows\System\CD_html.dll
    C:\Windows\System\CD_swf.dll
    C:\Windows\System\CD_Load.exe
    C:\Windows\System\adcache
Now I am scared to do this in case i screw up something and really don't know how to do it. I still have the icon kazaa on my tray and also in my start\program files as the website. Would you please advise me on what I should do. I'm sorry for being such a pain but I really could use your advise. Thank you very much.

Can you please stick to one thread? It's not possible to keep track of them, and help you!

    1) Reinstall Kazaa. That will replace the missing file giving you the error.

    2) Remove Kazaa from control panel add/remove ONLY.

    3) Run spybot. Fix all entires in red boxes.

    4) Once Spybot shows you that your system is clean, you can install KazaaLite.

    5) This is the 4th thread you have started. Please don't start another one.

    Hello again carole!

I'm glad it's all working.:) What you can do is look in the My shared file folder. You may have songs in there and you can save them by moving them to another folder. You can delete the rest of the Kazaa folder but leave it in your recycle bin for now but don't premantly delete the my emptying the recycle bin. That way, if there is anything there you can restore it.

Go and install KazaaLite. It is spyware free. It will also create a new Kazaa folder in C:\Programs. You can put your old songs back in the new MY Shared Files folder if you want.

But make a habit of running Spybot often, at especially after you download anything.

And yes, send a new startup lilst so we an make sure there are no more nasties hiding in your computer!:D

    Helo again!

You have a good looking startup list now! But you can go into msconfig and uncheck loadQM. Its not needed.

    You can get kazaalite HERE

    :)

    Hello again.

I just have a easy question. When i download kazalite what do I
need and what don't I need.
    They give these options:
    Auto Search now
    Dat Preview
    My shared folder
    Wig 2 Dat
    Speed Up
    Help
They gie you the option to check them or uncheck them to be installed. Would you advise me what to keep besides help.

    Thank you for your time.

Hello: I am having a problem again. When i first started my computer i got a fatal exception error occured at OE 0028:C15B645B in VXDWSOCK2(01) + 0000373B. Can you help me out. I had downloaded the netscaape 7.0 but didb't include the sun java or the winamp. Would that have anything do to with this. Is there a way I could correct this? Thanks for your help. Concerned my puter will crash.
