I downloaded Real Player on my Win98 system, but I cannot get it to run. When I tried uninstalling it, I received the message that an uninstaller component was missing. Now I cannot get the program to run, and I cannot uninstall it. I presume that if I an get it completely ininstalled properly, I can download it again and install it properly. Does anyone have a solution for me. Thanks.

Try to install it and then delete it again . then do a search for " real player " and its spyware components and delete them manually.

Don't I have to fix the missing component problem before I can uninstall it? I don't know of any other way to properly get the software off of my machine. Thanks.

I have the same problem on reinstallation. I get the same error message during installation. The program obviously tried to remove the old installation, and that's when I get the error message. Thanks for any help.
