Hello,
Computer was working perfectly fine until it all the sudden froze causing me to do a hard restart. Upon reboot the computer was showing zero wifi networks but was showing in device manager. Attempted to reset per HP instructions but once rebooted after that the Adapter no longer shows in device manager. Have attempted uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers from both HP and Realtek websites but installers run and nothing happens. Does this mean my Internal Card will need to be replaced? Thank you for any information!

The first thing to do would be to remove the card. Reboot. Then shut down and re-seat it. If it then doesn't show in device manager - either as a Network Adapter or as an unknown device - it's a pretty safe bet that it's gone bad.
