Rebooted PC, Lost everything.

    I just rebooted my pc and everythings gone, documents, program files, when i click a program in start menu it will either say "file.exe cannot be found" as if its missing, nothing program files, im scared, all i've installed is the latest vista update. what can i do! i've lost my passwords file :(

    Sounds like some virus or malware installed and hijacked .exe file extensions. See the 'Malware Removal and HijackThis Logs' forum for more help.
