I basically put my PC into a new case. Problem is my DVD player won't pick up anything. Or rather no matter what the CD is that I put in - it reads them as 1 audio track and then Winamp launches!!

The only other Symptom is that when playing video clips on the HD it takes a little longer for MS media player to play them. ie it hangs a little!

    Any ideas?

So it seems that something got fingerd in the change over . I can only think of two things, try reseating the dvd , try it twice , might be corision , ie rust . the other thing that comes to mind is ESD , you might have hert something .
